New ColorMaxLP3 Digital Color Label Printer
Dover, NH: Formax is pleased to introduce the ColorMaxLP3 Digital Color Label Printer, which produces brilliant full-color labels from a compact on-demand unit.
Replacing the discontinued LP2, the new ColorMaxLP3 includes an improved high-speed Unwinder/Rewinder System that easily handles a variety of substrates for continuous roll-to-roll production at up to 60 fpm.
Standard features include an intuitive 7” color touchscreen which allows users to recall jobs, monitor status in real time, check ink levels, and perform maintenance operations. The Memjet® stationary print head has no moving parts and features 70,400 inkjet nozzles for full-bleed CMYK print resolution up to 1600 x 1600 dpi. High-capacity 250ml ink tanks allow for longer uninterrupted print runs, and are easily accessible from the front panel, keeping the web intact. Additional features include a convenient “warm start” in under 10 seconds, continuous roll-to-roll operation, and an integrated cutter for short-run jobs.
The ColorMaxLP3 is quiet, fast, and economical for a quick return on investment, making ideal for on-demand print shops and in-plant label production.
